Northern New England Family Economic Success
Stephen Michon and the FutureWorks team designed and executed a number of projects that speak to the economic conditions of rural families and children in Northern New England. The first of these was a three-state effort to examine the economic conditions and implications for children’s policy in northern New England. Part of the Annie E. Casey Foundations’ rural Kids Count capacity building initiative, the project involved complex qualitative and quantitative research and resulted in a final report that was distributed throughout New England. Find the final report here.
The latest report was an in-depth repot on the economic disparities by community in the State of New Hampshire and the policy implications. The report is called Our Most Vulnerable Communities.
